Prerequisites
Affection Above Aviation provides flight training exclusively for missionaries answering God's call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ using an airplane as a tool for their field of ministry (Mark 16:15). All other aviation careers (i.e. corporate, military, airlines, etc.) please contact your local universities, flight schools, or independent CFI's for your training.

Affection Above Aviation Prerequisites

Must have a Biblical testimony of Salvation

Be a current, faithful member in an Independent Baptist Church of like faith, serving in a position

Have a personal calling to the ministry/mission field

Complete & submit an application of candidacy to Affection Above Aviation (listed below)

Sign & submit our doctrinal statement to Affection Above Aviation (listed below)

Provide Affection Above Aviation with written references from (1) either your pastor or college dean; (2) most recent employer or a college professor; (3) a personal reference of your choice (excluding family members)

Affection Above Requirements + FAA Eligibility Requirements

If a college student, have completed your sophomore year and be at least 21 years of age.

Obtain at least an FAA 3rd Class current medical prior to acceptance into Affection Above Aviation and stay current during you training.

Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.

Be able to show proof of United States citizenship or have completed the required TSA application and received approval for training as a non-citizen.
